Melany Barr-Patz
Remote Child and Family Therapist

Melany currently focuses on providing telehealth services for parents including individual therapy, group therapy, and parent consultations. She knows that the many pressures of parenthood are accompanied by meaningful opportunities for growth and is passionate about supporting parents in their quests for greater fulfillment and wellbeing. She particularly enjoys working with neurodivergent families and approaches her work from a neuro-affirming and strengths-based perspective.

Prior to becoming a counselor, Melany was a preschool and elementary school teacher. She carries much of what she enjoyed about teaching into her work as a counselor, focusing especially on building relationships that nurture and encourage connections. She tailors her approach to match individual needs and values.

As a Franco-American, Melany is bilingual and happy to provide services in English or French.

Melany is a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#15275, supervised by Amanda Campbell, LMFT #50600).
